A working visit of Amonatbank specialists to 75 branches in cities and districts of the republic to interpret the next message and conduct outreach and development activities

Based on the instractions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon in his regular address, the specialists of the Board of Amonatbank visited branches of cities and districts of the republic from 17 to 22 January 2022. The working visit took place to conduct outreach on banking services, particularly loans for business development and agriculture. This, in turn, contributes to the creation of new jobs, which will lead to higher local taxes. Also, the use of non-cash payments and remote services to prevent queues and congestion at branches and banking centres, and to improve financial literacy of the population. Meetings were organised with activists, heads of settlements, heads of farms, entrepreneurs, intellectuals and other sections of the population in cities and districts in order to interpret the main points of the next message and at the same time develop the activities of the sphere.

It should be noted that Amonatbonk's extensive nationwide network has 75 branches and 547 service centres. Measures are being taken across the country to address shortcomings and further enhance the contribution to the development of the banking system, create conditions for people to access credit finance, attract foreign investment, prevent and manage banking risks, including credit risks, and improve the quality of banking services.

The Bank has taken initiatives to provide soft loans "Kishovarz", "Donish-2021", "Istiklol-30" and "Orzuhoi Solinavi" 18 to 20 per cent per annum, in order to promote the abundance of consumer markets, state programmes for social support to citizens and on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of state independence.

At the same time, in connection with declaration of 2019-2021 as the “Period of Development of Rural Areas, Tourism and Folk”, in 2021, the Bank extended loans to over 272 clients from its own funds amounting to 8.3 million TJS, 60% more than in 2020 (16.5 million TJS loans extended for the development of this sector in 2019-2021).

The Bank will continue its efforts in implementing its programmes during the “Industry Development Years” for 2022-2026, as announced by the President in his annual appeal, by supporting domestic entrepreneurs, providing preferential loan terms and low interest rates, developing cashless transactions, which are the important factors for developing entrepreneurship, as well as attracting foreign investments.
